Enrok Construction, who are building the new Sports Pavilion in Ashbourne, are running a drawing competition for children from the three Ashbourne Primary Schools, asking them to draw a picture of what they would like to use the new Sport Pavilion for. Sarah Dines MP was asked to judge the competition.
Sarah Dines said, ‘I was delighted to be asked to be a judge for Enrok Construction’s drawing competition. Along with the other judges, Sean Clayton Former Mayor of Ashbourne and Dave Wood Secretary of Ashbourne Recreation Ground Sports and Community Partnership, I had the difficult job of choosing the winners of the competition. It is fantastic that Enrok have engaged with the local community, especially our young people, who I have no doubt will benefit greatly from the new Sports Pavilion. The children had been brilliantly creative and the drawings were of a fantastic standard.
I know that Enrok Construction will be announcing the winners soon and that the art will be showcased, holding pride of place in the new pavilion. Thank you to Enrok Construction for asking me to judge and all the children who submitted a drawing, they really were all fantastic. ‘
