On Friday 1st July, Sarah Dines MP attended a special assembly at Hulland Ward Primary School. The children were presented with Jubilee Certificates from Sarah and commemorative cups from the Parish Council, supported by County Councillor Dermot Murphy.
Sarah Dines said, ‘I am so honoured to have had the opportunity to be part of a special assembly with the children at Hulland Church of England Primary School, where they were presented with a Jubilee cup and certificates. I am so grateful to the Parish Council for presenting the children with this keepsake, which I am sure they will treasure for many years to come.
The school is just so fantastic, and the children are so well behaved. The teachers and the School Governors do such a fantastic job and should be very proud of their school. The children were so excited and sang so beautifully. Thank you to the Parish Council, Cllr Peter Birkbeck, Cllr Dermot Murphy, Head Teacher Mrs Wendy Underwood and to all the school teachers and pupils. It was such a lovely way to celebrate and recognise Her Majesty the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.’
