Sarah Dines MP has been standing up for dairy farmers in Derbyshire Dales
Sarah said, 'I spoke with Minette Batters today, President of the NFU, and covered multiple issues on agriculture and farming, standing up for our local farmers and keeping fully engaged on agriculture and farming matters as I have done since my election. I am pressing for a financial package for hard hit diary farmers. Several MPs with rural constituencies have joined together with this aim and have made requests for this to the Government. We also discussed the beef industry and issues surrounding the alarming drop in prices. We also discussed the sheep and goat sectors. I will continue to stand up for my farming constituents, as well as other constituents facing financial hardship in other sectors of the economy as a result of the present Covid 19 pandemic.
I welcome emails from all constituents to [email protected]
