Sarah Dines MP supporting local businesses in Ashbourne
New Derbyshire Dales MP Sarah Dines was delighted to attend the launch of the Friends Cafe on Market Square at the weekend.
New proprietors Nicki Hetherington and Steve Clark invited the MP and her family to attend the launch of the new venture that will be open seven days a week from the 12th February.
Commenting on the cafe Sarah said ‘ I’m delighted to support the launch of this cafe in Ashbourne. It is vital that we all support local businesses in our market towns and I know that Nicki and Steve will make a great success of this charming cafe. It will be a super asset to Ashbourne.’
Over 100 people attended the launch when Nicki and Steve explained the ethos of the family run cafe. All the food and beverages will be locally sourced and the suppliers listed on the walls of the fifty seater eatery. As well as the cafe business, Nicki will use the kitchen space for her outside catering business Delish Dishes.
