Sarah Dines MP said, ‘It was brilliant to meet Andy Owen and James Jones at their fabulous business MasterMover recently. The spirit of innovation is alive and well in Ashbourne and MasterMover are one of the finest examples of a business continuously challenging themselves to improve and find the next engineering solution for their customers. I am obviously biased, but there is no better place for an innovative company to be based than Derbyshire Dales, an area known as one of the birth places of the Industrial Revolution. It is brilliant to see businesses today embodying the same bold spirit as Arkwright and others, right here in Ashbourne. Thank you to MasterMover for welcoming me to their business and congratulations to them for winning the King’s Award.’
James Jones, Partner & Director, MasterMover said, “Innovation is a fundamental part of our culture and ethos at MasterMover, so it was fantastic to be recognised in the Innovation category in this year’s King’s Awards for our pioneering work in developing our electric tug material handling solutions. We were pleased to welcome Sarah Dines MP to our Ashbourne headquarters, to discuss our business, our achievements to date and the opportunities for the future, both in terms of product development, with technology driving autonomous solutions, but also as regards export, with MasterMover working with customers in over 70 countries globally”.
