Professor Paula Holt is a constituent in Derbyshire Dales and is the Derbyshire Royal British Legion President. Sarah Dines MP met Professor Holt in Westminster to discuss how she could support the work of the Royal British Legion in Derbyshire Dales.
Sarah Dines MP said, ‘It was such an honour to welcome my constituent, Professor Paula Holt to Parliament on Thursday 16th June. Professor Holt is the Derbyshire Royal British Legion President and does fantastic work supporting our veterans across Derbyshire Dales.
It was a pleasure to discuss Professor Holt’s fascinating and broad ranging work in veterans’ health, arts & criminal justice and it is clear that she cares passionately about our veteran community and our community as a whole. I am looking forward to working with Professor Holt on these issues across Derbyshire Dales and I hope to hold a veteran’s event in Parliament later in the year.
The Royal British Legion do incredible and vital work. I know of many local veterans and their families, that have received valuable support from the Royal British Legion groups across Derbyshire Dales and I am always so pleased to support them when I can.
