Sarah was delighted to become a member of the all-party parliamentary group (APPG) on Hospitality and Tourism. This is a forum to discuss and support our fantastic hospitality and tourism sector, which is a vital industry within Derbyshire Dales.
Sarah has a history of supporting our tourism and hospitality attractions here in Derbyshire Dales, having raised the need for support for the industry during the pandemic directly to ministers on the floor of the House of Commons. Sarah is committed to making sure local tourism is successful in her work alongside Sir Richard FitzHerbert, Chairman of the Marketing Peak District & Derbyshire tourism Board and with Lord McLoughlin in his previous role as Visit Britain chairman.
Tourism and the hospitality industry are vital for the local economy in Derbyshire Dales, which is why Sarah dedicates her time to supporting these enterprises, especially during the difficult time of the pandemic. Sarah has met with countless small, medium, and large businesses over lockdown and since and is committed to working with the industry to support her local constituents, especially as they rebuild following the pandemic.
