Local MP Sarah Dines is working to tackle broadband and digital connectivity issues in Derbyshire.
Sarah Dines MP said, ‘I had an informative and useful virtual meeting with Andrew and Naim at Digital Derbyshire on November 16 and I want to thank them both for spending their time answering all my questions.
A lot of constituents raise their concerns on digital connectivity in Derbyshire Dales and I am determined that by working with Government and Digital Derbyshire, that we can build on the good work already taking place and tackle this issue going forward. I have raised this directly with Ministers on the floor of the House of Commons and will continue to do so.
Digital connectivity is more important now than ever before and I am raising individual concerns when constituents contact me, so if you have poor broadband in your area please do contact me and I will always do my best to help.
I am working closely with Digital Derbyshire to tackle the issue of poor broadband connectivity and have asked for a full report from them on the work they have completed and their plans for work in the coming months. No one should be left with poor broadband connectivity.’
