On 4 December Sarah Dines MP visited Gervaise Dawson owner of Eyam Brewery.
Sarah Dines said, ‘I had the pleasure of meeting Gervaise Dawson owner of Eyam Brewery on Friday 4 December. Understandably this is an incredibly difficult time for the Brewery and for the hospitality industry as a whole and it is very clear that Gervaise has worked incredibly hard and is determined to keep his business going.
We are so lucky to have so many independent businesses in Derbyshire Dales and some very talented makers. Eyam Brewery is a great example of local enterprise and innovation and I am passionate about finding ways to support them during this difficult time. I know many in the hospitality industry are upset and frustrated by the tier system and I entirely understand. I don’t like Derbyshire Dales being in Tier three, but it is what is needed to defeat this virus. I am lobbying Ministers to get more support to those in the hospitality industry.’
